Kalmthoutse Heide

The nature reserve is part of a continuous natural area that stretches across both sides of the Belgian-Dutch border. This vast moorland is Kalmthout’s pride and joy. It covers a surface area of approx. 6,000 ha. Especially the ecological and the cultural-historical values make this area unique and worth preserving.
